We invite delegates to submit abstracts for presentation as posters.
We particularly encourage abstracts from young researchers and also those related to the topics under discussion at the meeting. First authors of all accepted abstracts will receive £100, in order to assist with travel to the event. A prize will also be awarded to the abstract judged to be the best.
Deadline for abstract submission is 16th March 2018.
Authors of abstracts accepted for the meeting will be notified by 21st March 2018. Posters will be displayed at the meeting and will also be available for delegates to view on the event app.
Instructions for abstract submission
Abstracts should be prepared in Word and follow a standard conference abstract format with the text divided into the following sections: background, methods, results, conclusions.
Abstracts should be no more than 350 words, and titles no longer than 12 words. A single table or figure is permitted. Only one abstract is permitted per delegate (as first author), and the delegate must also be registered for the conference.

Posters will need to be printed size A1 in portrait orientation. Please note due to space restrictions we are unable to accept alternative sizes or orientations
It is the responsibility of poster presenters to print and transport their own posters to the conference
Delegates should arrive early on the day and will have the opportunity to put up posters from 08.30
Judging will take place during the lunch hour, you will be required to stand close to your poster from to answer any queries from delegates or judges regarding your research
